Nocturnary (nocturnary.com) is operated by Evoq Sp. z o.o., Słowackiego 55/1, 60-521 Poznań, Poland. In this policy, "we" and "Nocturnary" mean the operator of this website. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@nocturnary.com.

The dream you type, and any optional context about your life you add, so we can generate your reading. You choose what to write — please don't include information you'd rather not share.

Your email address, only if you choose to have a reading emailed to you or otherwise give it to us. We don't require an account to use Nocturnary.

Payment information, when you buy a deep reading. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Basic usage and technical data: anonymised page views and events (to understand what's useful), and your IP address transiently, to rate-limit and protect the service from abuse.

To generate your dream reading, process payments for the deep reading, keep the service running and secure, and understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your dream text to advertise to you.

Your reading is generated on the fly and shown to you — we do not save your dreams or readings to a database on our servers. To write the personal deep reading, your dream text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the interpretation, and is not retained by us afterwards.

If you ask us to email a reading to you, that text is sent through our email provider to deliver the message.

We rely on a small set of trusted processors who handle data on our behalf: Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (generating the AI deep reading from your dream text), Vercel (website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics), and Resend (email delivery, only if you request an email). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

These providers may process data outside your country (including in the United States) under standard data-protection safeguards.

We keep tracking minimal. Our analytics are privacy-friendly and aggregate — we measure page views and anonymous events, not individual identities. We store a theme preference in your browser so the site remembers light or dark mode.

Because we don't store your dreams, there's nothing for us to retain there. If you give us your email, we keep it until you ask us to remove it. Payment records are retained by Stripe and by us only as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@nocturnary.com and we'll respond. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Nocturnary is not directed to children, and is intended for adults. Please don't use it if you are under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date below. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
